The media gave a lot of coverage to “The End of the World” on 12/21/12. They were incomplete in what they conveyed. The past era of 5,000+ years ended on that date. A new era began 12/22/12. This era will be launched by the Age of Life. So much of the leadership in the 21st century will facilitate the emergence of the Age of Life.

December 21st indeed marked the end of the World as we have known it for 5,000+ years. It was an era in which the human psyche, and pre-frontal cortex, rapidly developed, bringing rapid changes to the world. In this past era, we traveled quickly through the Agricultural Revolution to the Technological Revolution. We are facing more than a “revolutionary change,” we are entering a whole new era – LIA (Life Age).
The introductory book has been written; and is freely available in pdf form on this website. You Tubes, writings, presentations, will follow. And as for “following,” there will be the AGE_OF_LIFE twitter.
There is no time to waste, we begin.

Presentation of Global Shifts Given to 2011 Global Education Conference

Shifts in the education system are occurring. One constant in education is the ever needed changes in educational curriculum to keep student current in what they need to know, and skills they need to develop. Global education is a greatly needed educational curriculum, but comes at a time of restricted budgets and limited time and money. Finding ways to insert global education curriculum into existing curriculum is what most educators are doing.

For educators reading this blog, I hope you will read the education section of the Age of Life book that is freely available here on this website. Also, be sure to access the sub pages with the many websites you and your students can investigate. Also, I am including the PowerPoint of a Presentation given at the 2011 Global Education Conference on the shifts that need to be covered in curriculum.

There are so many excellent shifts going on that we want to prepare our students to both maximize and optimize.

Synergistic Collaboration and 21st Century Wellness

When I produced the “synergistic collaboration” method, I knew that a vital element was the personal level of commitment and capacity of collaborative members. As I research the increasing emphasis on “Wellness” in business and healthcare, I see the direct link to the wellness emphasis in SYNCOLLAB (synergistic collaboration). A person must have an adequate degree of wellness to perform work duties, to function in society, and to prevent health conditions requiring medical treatment. On one hand, this seems obvious. However, there has never been such a strong intention push to provide the means and evaluation of wellness.

As you review SYNCOLLAB, you will find that the effectiveness of the collaboration ultimately depends on the wellness – physical, psychological, and even spiritual, of the members.
